A Routine That Can Build a Strong Body

Exercise is a workout routine to help our body become more physically fit. It makes our body stronger so we can do more activities and is usually done on a regular basis. Some do the exercise daily; some do it few times a week.

Exercise can be done anywhere. We can do it at home, outdoors, and some people prefer to do it at the gym where there are different exercise program and body building equipment to help them do the exercises. Exercise is recommended to be done regularly and is advised to do it every morning.

What benefit can we get in exercising regularly? Exercising can help make our body tough and less prone to sicknesses. It can give us energy and can make us more effective in doing different daily activities.

Here are some simple exercises that anyone can do at even at home:
Sit ups – this is one of the popular exercises for building muscles. It is done by laying our body on the floor while knees are bent. Hands should be placed at the back of the head to support the weight. Keep the legs in this position then slowly lift your shoulder as well as your body. Then rest it down and do it repeatedly. It is also advisable to inhale while you lift your body and exhale as you rest. This exercise can help you shape your abdominal muscle

Push ups – this is another popular exercise that can be done at home. In doing the push ups, you need to lift your body using your arms. By laying your body down facing the floor, your muscles in the arms will contract while lifting the body up. This exercise is usually done in military training.

Triceps – in this exercise, you will need the use of weights. A dumbbell can be use in this exercise. This will be done simultaneously for each arm. While sitting in a chair with your arms stretched upward, slowly bend down your elbow and then place the weight behind your head. After that, put it back to starting position while lifting the other weight after another.

Even busy people can do the exercise in the simplest way. One of the simplest exercises you can do is walking. You do not need to ride a car just for you to make it to your school or workplace. A simple workout everyday like walking can help. Why? By simply walking three blocks daily, you will help lower the risk of stroke up to 30 percent. If you are going to do a five block walking, the risk of having stroke can be cut off by 50 percent or even up to 60 percent.

However, there are things you shouldn’t do before doing exercise like eating heavy meals. This will make it hard for you to perform the exercise. And exercise shouldn’t be done few hours before bedtime because you might not be able to sleep at night.

Aside from being physically fit, exercise can help you boost your energy. Doing exercise program is not just for ones physical health, but also for mental fitness. If you do exercise regularly, it will make you feel good. If you do your daily workout routine, you sure will always be in good mood.
